Pros
Some good people work with, who are unfortunately trapped
Cons
Where to start? Rubbish pay; have to fight for a raise which is even less than inflation. No progression opportunities Staff treated like cattle/expendable Expected to go offsite (even abroad) on incredibly short notice Constant uncertainty with regards to workstream Complete hypocrisy from senior management (being told about exciting work coming ahead, only for there to be shortage of work) Zero opportunities to work in other sectors Zero choice of work; you do what you are given Blame culture - when something goes wrong, look to fire people Management incompetent - look to blame others, don't take responsibility for failures/bad decisions. Short term fixes - no long term strategy in place. Regularly make employees work long extra hours at their own expense (i.e. not bookable, working for free). ZERO TRAINING - companies looking to sell their products (e.g. computer tools) come in to give free demos; this is counted as your "training" to meet your target. Which you never use. AVOID this place like the plague
