Pros
-The benefits are some of the best, including a company-paid pension. -Subsidized cafeteria which keeps meals cheap. -Friendly, warm people to work with. -Depending on work location, on-site day care and elementary school. -Van pooling for employees. -Free parking. -Some business units allow managers to telecommute on a regular basis.
Cons
-Not all business units allow managers to telecompute on a regular basis. -Poor working conditions; small desk cubes, and noise level is so high one can't concentrate without headphones. -No health club facilities on-site. -A good ole boy mentality in many busines units -A few observed instances where the HR dept's support of management over employees was questionable.
