Pros
They promote from within, so your direct supervisor knows your job inside and out. While Assisted is for profit, patient care is truly the first priority for everyone. Pay is competitive and you truly make a difference in your patients lives. Also, you generally schedule yourself so no need to take PTO if you plan well.
Cons
If you are short staffed in your area, you are expected to pitch in which can lead to case managing a lot of patients . If you're not a person who can say no, it can be a problem. Also, insurance is incredibly expensive, so if you are your family's main provider, it can eat up your paycheck quick.
