Pros
The lower level employees are amazing and are the only reason I stayed for as long as I did.
Cons
I wasn't going to write this, but after working at a new company, I am now painfully aware of how awful my experience was at Aspect. During my 1.5 years at this company I was overworked, underpaid, and discriminated against. Leadership at this company is terrible; I had my job threatened by a President and dealt with passive aggressive/off-handed racist remarks from the Director of Culture. Management will invest time and resources into building company values purely so they can check a box. These values are only for low level employees to feel heard, but they do not apply to upper management. As an employee, if you try to act on these values and hold the people in charge accountable, they will put you on a "problematic employee" list and will do everything they can to get you to quit so they don't have to fire you. When I tried to be brave, speak up, and get some guidance, I was berated and made to feel insignificant by one of the Presidents. Management does not know how to run a company, and their incompetence is evident when they ask employees for advice during company wide meetings. They will spend company money on week long events that take place during work hours and take people away from their jobs. Then the following week lay off 10% of the workforce and cut salaries due to "not making enough money". With the money they have left, they will pay for the Director of Operations (who lives in a different state) to fly in, stay at a hotel and fire people; this will be the only time you will hear from the person supposedly in charge of overseeing several departments. Being at this company felt like being on a sinking ship where management is standing on the heads of everyone else to keep themselves afloat. Work/life balance is nonexistent, promotions are a carrot at the end of a stick you'll never reach and leadership is directly responsible for jeopardizing the mental health of their employees.
