Pros
The firm is in such a niche market that it presents a great opportunity to learn about GIPS, performance measurement, and GIPS verifications. A lot to learn and as an intern, there is certainly enough work to keep you busy. Upper level employees are very knowledgeable in their field.
Cons
Culture is bland. Most employees, particularly entries hate their jobs. Too much work in comparison to pay/reward. Not very structured in training although improvements were made. Overall, it is a cost leader in the services it provides, but it comes at a huge expense against their own employees. Huge turnover and employees dissatisfied with direction of the company as well as the amount of work they have over the little pay they receive. Makes it hard to retain talent if there is any. Lower level work is becoming outsourced for cheap labor.
