Pros
Most positions seem to benefit from a relaxed attitude towards long hours and the company is vocal about not promoting presenteeism. There is an effort to support work/life balance. Regular food perks & above-standard private healthcare. Better personal IT set-up than I've ever previously experienced.
Cons
An unnatural focus on positivity and a relentless cycle of formalised peer feedback. Despite regular calls to 'be your true yourself' - the reality is very much the opposite. Maintaining company vibe is prioritised over individual development or contributions. Many inexperienced staff hired into the same positions as those with more experience; little planning around career advancement. Middle & senior management too often blame lack of planning or poor internal communication on being a start-up.
