      Pros

      There's a nice cafe in the studio. I highly recommend the fresh ricotta and arugula crostini. That's amazing.

      Cons

      Poor management. Bad attitudes. I think the owner has a personality disorder of some kind, for real. It's all smiles to people's faces and then nothing but derision for clients is shown during meetings. The work there is terrifically over rated. High turnover due to rampant firings and people leaving because it sucks the life force out of you to show up and work for racists every day. (You can't call people "Blackie" or "Ching Chong" or make jokes about watermelon and fried chicken. You can't. This CEO did.)

      Pros

      When I decided to go back to teaching cosmetology, I wanted to work for the best. I have worked in other schools and the student were not prepared to work right out of school. At Arrojo, the students are extremely prepared for working in a salon environment right out of the gate. Aside from technical skills, Arrojo trains students in time management, client relations and health and safety precautions in a post Covid world.
