Pros
This review is for ARMADA DESIGN CENTER (ADC) not Armada Design Build (ABD) these are two related but separate companies under the same roof. The company seems to have financial resources to build a business that can prosper. The company culture is a positive one, in general.
Cons
The ADC Director is a very charismatic individual who appears committed to building a company (are they?, they are not around a lot). Charisma is alluring, but can it pay the bills?
Armada Design Center is a long way off from creating the business they claim they have. It is noteworthy that the entire original staff hired at their inception (18 months ago from March 2025?) either quit or were fired in their first year or so of employment. I do not know why but worth considering.
At the time of my employment (January 2025) the longest employee had been with the company 9 months. Okay, give them the benefit of doubt, they're a newer company. It's tumultuous.
However, the Director made specific claims about what was possible working for ADC and the most critical of those claims are doubtful if not patently untrue, at the time of this writing. As design/sales people in a "Kitchen and Bath" type showroom the bulk of our salaries come from the sale of cabinetry. Armada Design Center is NOT set up to effectively represent a cabinet line that can bring them sales without fierce market saturation competition and competitors being able to undercut sales to the point of why represent that product? OR they simply have such poor showroom representation of SOME of their cabinet products it makes it like your selling from a catalogue not a physical product.
The Director misrepresented the CURRENT capabilities of the company, either willingly or because of a lack of understanding the business. Either way, that's not cool, at all. Why does all this matter? If you know, you know. If you don't good luck in your painful learning process. Maybe they will get all this worked out in the next year or so. I could not wait around to find out.
