Prepare To Make An Impact - Data Scientist Arkera Employee Review

In the next few days I will be completing one year at Arkera. Having worked for bigger organisations in the past, there was always the nervousness of joining a new company, especially knowing the fact that it was a start up. However, having heard the vision and mission of the founders I took a bold step to join their journey that would enable people to make better decisions regarding this investments and wealth. Looking back, I can very well say that the decision that I took about 12 months back was the right one. Having had a career that spans close to 25 years, one may think that “you have seen it all”. However the past 12 months have proved that wrong. Everyday is a new day and you always get to learn something new.   In terms of technology, we have adopted an advanced architecture, cutting edge technical stack, and the methodologies are innovative. The turnaround time for any of our tasks are phenomenal. The team here great and ever helping. Having said that, no day goes without a discussion on “what is the best ways to solve a problem at hand”. The founders have been very supportive and have created an environment that brings out the best from an employee.

Like any startup, you need to wear multiple hats and cannot say "this is not my job". However, this is not necessary a constraint - for people willing to learn, it is an opportunity to explore and learn newer things.

I have been working with team Arkera since almost a year now. There is a lot of positivity & synergy in the team. All team members are super competent and very helpful. There is a sense of eagerness and enthusiasm in the team which motivates everyone daily. Senior management is very helpful, always ready to listen to feedback, constantly communicating with the team members and looking for more and more improvements. With new customers, team members there will be lots of challenges ahead. However, I am sure that the kind of people that we have on board we will always make things work for us and our customers, leading to becoming a pioneer in DataScience-Fintech domain.

The Company is still evolving and many processes are dynamic. Employees have to be extremely agile and adaptable to the constantly changing environment and requirements.
