Pros
If you can surround yourself with a brilliant team, the work seems to just fly by. You are trained in all aspects of the role and whilst you cannot chose where you stay, you can easily ask to be transferred to different roles, or even different stores, should your circumstances change, for example going to University.
Cons
The job itself is extremely demanding, in times of short staff or busy seasonal periods (such as Christmas and New Year), the managers can push you to your limit, having to be trained in all areas such as tills, stockroom and headset picking. It is also a gamble to whether you are placed in a store that has great management - from personal experience, typically you do not realise this until you're already settled in the job, which makes things extremely difficult.
