Pros
Working here you will get a valuable learning experience. You will get to see what it looks like when founders have absolutely no clue what they are doing and larp as competent entrepreneurs.
Cons
I used to work here in the back as a "farmer". Let me just say there are like 100 reasons why this dog and pony show has such a high turnover, but a review isn't long enough for them all. They can grow a few greens and at 10x the cost of an outdoor farm using LEDs…congratulations I guess? At the end of the day the whole business is a scam. You think we actually grew everything we've ever sent out? No...it's all ordered in from like Mexico or Canada to make up for production issues when the silo contraption absolutely 💩’s the bed (which is often lol). Whenever any of us working in the back brought up issues with sending out the fake "organic" and "local" produce, we were shamed by the front. Ultimately the real issue is the CEO. Yet another Silicon Valley tech/software guy who thinks he can "disrupt" farming. Who in addition to making what, in my opinion are frequent sexually inappropriate and racist comments, also had us cover up all the issues temporarily when inspectors come. A true predator in more ways than one. Seriously, ask them about "Baldor" ... I may not have gone to college, but I do know that what they are doing is wrong, and fraudulent. They treat current and former employees who say something and/or quit as villains and thieves....sweetie, look in the mirror.
