Pros
I've worked in healthcare for a while, and Arden Courts has been one of the most rewarding places I've worked. Memory care is definitely challenging at times, but it's also incredibly fulfilling to build relationships with residents and their families and see the impact you can make every day.
One thing I really appreciate is that the work environment feels much more manageable than skilled nursing. It allows staff to spend more quality time with residents and focus on what really matters. The residents become like family, and the team genuinely cares about them.
The company is also smaller than many large healthcare organizations, which I see as a positive. There is a clear structure, expectations are straightforward, and you don't feel like just another number. Leadership is accessible, and there is support when you need it.
The benefits are excellent, and there are opportunities to learn and grow within the company. No workplace is perfect, but overall Arden Courts has been a great place to work, and I would recommend it to anyone interested in memory care.
Cons
Low tuition reimbursement, but they do have some!
