Cons
1. Too much change - mergers, changing goals, loss of great employees 2. Too much focus on corporate and not enough local focus - managers have to worry too much about answering to corporate and not enough time answering to local personnel needs/morale 3. They often set the bar too high. Don't get me wrong it's great to push for success but you can't always expect success 4. Hard to maintain work life balance 5. Like most consulting jobs sometimes can be very demanding (time and otherwise) 6. Too focused on yesterday's numbers and less focused on the outcomes and future
