Pretty good and there's free food

It's grad school so it sucks lol

There are a couple managers/directors who are really the singular leaders of their fields. If you can work with one of them, it is really amazing. Almost everybody is very motivated and excited about what they are doing.

Some projects are pretty manual-labor intense, people have agressive timelines, everything seems centered around ML. In the past there were some pretty awful directors, but most of them are gone. Also compensation is reflective of the Academic nature of the institute
