Toxic place to work - Senior Software Engineer Arabian Systems Employee Review

The company has a toxic and poorly managed work environment with no ethics or respect for employees. Managers have no real authority, as stakeholders override their decisions without considering what’s right or wrong. Some managers simply follow whatever the stakeholders say, no matter how bad it is. Older employees act as spies, reporting on their colleagues to top management, which destroys trust among staff. There’s no flexibility—if you’re late by a few minutes, your salary gets deducted, but working extra hours doesn’t get you any overtime or recognition. Senior employees have no opportunities to grow or learn, and HR seems more interested in organizing games than creating a better work environment or addressing employees’ needs. The management in the UAE completely ignores opinions and feedback, and deductions or terminations are their easiest solutions. Contracts mean nothing, as the company doesn’t stick to the terms you sign. No matter how much effort you put in, there’s no appreciation, and your performance is always criticized. Overall, it’s a messy, unprofessional, and toxic place to work, and I’m just grateful to have left it behind.
