Pros

- Fun colleagues (but most of them have quit or about to quit)

Cons

- Unskilled "senior" management, most of them have no formal executive management background - CEO only appears during all-hands to tell employees off for feedback submitted, then goes missing until the next all-hands - No decent medical benefits, no bonuses - No employee retention efforts - Expected to dedicate 24/7 to work There is no Designer or Engagement Manager in Aquient. So some of the positive comments on here are totally planted by management themselves LOL

Aquient Response

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about Aquient. We strive to provide a positive workplace culture and take your input seriously when shaping company policy. - Our senior management team successfully led Aquient through an acquisition by K2 Partnering in June 2023 and have remained in their roles since. Anyone who has been through an acquisition would know that is not a task for an "unskilled" management team. All members of the management team have extensive experience, most in large consulting companies and agencies. - The CEO is not "missing" in any way and works extensively with the leadership team in the business directly. There is very little downtime in any CEO role and as much as we are sure he would like to, he doesn't always have the availability to work with everyone in the company individually. - When it comes to benefits like health insurance, we use market guidelines to offer competitive options for our employees, and often their dependants, along with a very generous annual leave policy. - We also have a comprehensive bonus program, either tied to certification or via setting personal goals with your manager. - We work very hard to retain top performing employees and are consistently happy with our ability to retain engaged and high performing team members. Our scores on Workday Peakon are testament to that fact. - We never want our employees to feel overworked, and pride ourselves on the positive feedback we get from our employees on work-life balance. There is no expectation of 24/7 availability. - A simple LinkedIn search would show that we have a designer on staff presently and Engagement Managers have worked at Aquient before (although we have recently renamed that role in the business). Overall it is a shame that you felt the best way to give feedback was via an anonymous review on Glassdoor (you certainly weren't our Client Success Manager) and that we couldn't have had a productive feedback session before you left the business. We are always trying to improve our employee experience, but also realise, due to the high standards we place upon ourselves and that our clients place upon us, we can't be the right employer for everyone. In this case, we encourage people to move on to a more suitable employment environment for them and not spend their professional working day unhappy, holding back a place for someone looking for a new role who will value their time at Aquient. In this case, it appears you have taken that advice. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with specific information or suggestions on how we could have done better. We always excited to evolve our team dynamic!
