I was retaliated against by my management after I was injured on the job. I was bitten in the lower abdomen by a dog while on the job; I followed all the procedure given to me by the hospital and management and I still had to fight for my legally required time off. Additionally, once I returned I was not accommodated; instead my work output was criticized, my drive times increased, my Chem deliveries evaporated, and scheduling and manager communication lost its previous consistency. Important questions I had about the L&I process were not answered by management. No longer having the communication or support from management to do my job well left me feeling like the only option I had was to quit working for Aptive Environmental, in order to regain my health. I look forward to the opportunity to publicize my experiences with Aptive Environmental to warn others away and prevent them from experiencing the same things I did.
