-poor leadership, only concerned with bottom line and not at all bothered with fostering a professional, respectful environment, no matter what they say publically.
-work/life balance is not possible for many employees and if you're one of the ones that's overworked they think it's just your fault that you cant manage your workload when in reality you're doing to work of 4-5 people.
-leaders put employees in impossible positions to carry out their vision but don't do what's needed to make that happen - if anyone complains about things, you take all the blame and have no support from your so-called leaders.
-coworkers force their will through bullying and harrassment. Some will outright lie and spread rumours to discredit others. Almonst none conduct themselves professionally and really, they behave like narcissistic sociopaths. Many are hired like this because the hiring managers are like this themselves. Employees that are not like this, figure this out and leave.
-leaders don't care at all what the employees think because they believe they know everything and there's only one right way to do things, and that's whatever way they always have, and you dare not have a different perspective or disagree, because even if you have years of experience and success, they don't care.
-90% more meetings than are needed and that take up 8+ hours of your day leaving you with a full time job (and more) to do after your full time day of meetings.
-mergers and acquisitions are not going well. Many acquired company staff do not want to be part of the org and resist at every opportunity and others are treated like dirt by the org - dismissed, ignored, promised to be retained and then let go. Messaging from leadership is confused -" standardize" & at the same time "don't change anything". Some companies are bought and then product decides they don't actually want the tech or customers afterall, wating money and screwing over those customers. There's also a lot of infighting.
-You're never given the appropriate time or resources to get things done with decent quality. It's not fast-paced, it's constant chaos and half-finished projects and no thoughts as to setting up for future state.
