Some lines are almost impossible to make rate on which can lower your average in a hurry. If they are having supply issues and can't get parts you're going to be stuck working at average doing menial tasks like cleaning. Hopefully you have a good average. You're really at the mercy of what line you're assigned to (or even trained on) and who you're working with.
