Pros
Remote. Paid On Time-the company they use handles all that, and you have access to it, which is nice and convenient. Agents and proposed insured who call in, were sweet/complimentary. Some supervisors were helpful-too bad the abusive one takes over. Easy to start shift/log in/log off.
Cons
Bully supervisor who will call you, instant message you, harass you listen to your calls and degrade you-only because she's a less than person who likes to feel like a big shot any way she can (maybe she was made fun of when she was younger..or lately.) You have 4 supervisors you have to ask a question to, at the same time online- and one answers you back; out of them. Which is fine. But, the one that answers you back is so mean. She will call you and instant message you and harass you and threaten you. You really wish that any of the other 3 supervisors answered your question. Because this one loves-to-make-you-feel-flustered. She obviously has a horrible personal life that she likes to take out on interviewers. So much for the empathy /kindness/ Apptical employees are supposed to posses. I made the mistake of being nice to her. Not worth being abused for your state minimum wage-and yes, I was lied to just like the other reviewer said. Haha $15.00 an hour I was quoted at interview. Not even possible. There are other great remote jobs-this is not the 90's people. This one aint-it. I believed it all, too. Low turn over. Big Lie. Ya-only supervisors low turn over. Who don't have to work under a gruff, hyper- critical power hungry lady with a personality disorder. Higher-Ups, are having to do both the hiring/ training/ support, and also the telephone interviewing jobs, because they can't keep new people! I need to write this, because I read these reviews on here, too.(Already mentioned on heading what that's about). Oh, and they don't even give two, 10-15 minute breaks per shift-hello-illegal. Now, I already know someone from Apptical will respond on here, some, have- to- get- the- last- word- message to me about their lame service; like they did on another honest review, written here-watch. (Kind of like what happened to Uber-look what happens when you only care about the client and not the employees. Not good). I am just lucky I am with a great remote company. In fact, after working for Apptical every job remote or at the office- was better than this job.
