Pros
ApplyBoard is a company with a lot of potential and a strong mission in the international education space. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work with talented, driven colleagues and be part of a fast-paced, high-growth environment. It’s a place where you can learn quickly, take ownership, and gain exposure to different aspects of the business.
Cons
That said, the rapid growth also comes with challenges. Processes and structures are still evolving, which can sometimes lead to unclear expectations, shifting priorities, and communication gaps between teams. At times, it felt like the company was trying to scale faster than its internal systems could support. Management quality can vary depending on the team, and there is room for improvement when it comes to consistency, transparency, and long-term planning. Work-life balance may also be impacted during particularly busy periods. Overall, ApplyBoard is a good company, especially for those who thrive in dynamic environments and are comfortable with change.
