While you made several points we wanted to specifically address your concerns over communicating AppD's RSU plans as you brought up some great points.
As you pointed out, this info is outlined within every offer letter we send. But as you also pointed out this should have been made clearer during the discussions with your recruiter. We could not agree more! We're all about transparency so we want to make sure that there is 100% clarity and confidence about what your signing when you sign your AppDynamics offer.
Knowing that we're working to re-educate the talent team on how to discuss our RSU plans with potential employees. We're also constantly working with our Senior Director, Employee Shareholder Services to see how we can make this education process more in depth moving forward.
Something we aim to educate all of our candidates on is not only that are our RSU plans are industry standard, but they are above and beyond what you'll see at most companies in the Bay Area and around the world.
