Very Good - Senior Manager Apollo Finvest Employee Review

I joined Apollo at a point where I was honestly a bit lost in my previous role. I was doing work, but not really understanding why I was doing it. Here, that changed pretty quickly. In my first couple of weeks, I was pulled into discussions where people actually explained the “why” behind decisions, not just the “what.” It was overwhelming initially because the pace is definitely faster than what I was used to. I remember going home the first few days feeling like I had to catch up a lot. But after about a month, things started clicking. What I really appreciate is that weekends are respected. There are busy days during the week, but you’re not expected to be constantly online. Also, people are approachable. I’ve messaged seniors for help and never felt ignored or judged. It’s not a place where you can stay passive, but if you’re willing to put in the effort, you’ll learn a lot.

What I like about Apollo is that you’re not just doing tasks, you’re expected to think. Initially I found that stressful because I was used to just executing instructions. Over time, it actually made work more interesting. Also, the team is pretty approachable. I’ve pinged people way senior to me and they’ve replied without any attitude.

Fast-paced environment may be challenging for those who prefer clearly defined instructions.
