Pros

My direct boss was friendly and trusted me to do my job

Cons

What wasn’t a con? No real structure to this job except a schedule given to me and I had to schedule HVAC lead generation Reps in Costco locations on those dates. The rest was up to me to figure out which isn’t horrible for a guy like me with my leadership experience. Marketing materials where never on time or extremely late. No one knew where they were sent to. There were times where I drove an hour to find out they were never shipped. Not very efficient with one’s time. I fired more people than I hired. In my role, you relied on a sales team to sell or your Reps would suffer. So much that I had to lay off my entire North Jersey team because all the sales team but one member quit. Bonus structure changed frequently for my Reps and my bonus opportunities were highly unattainable. Apex Service Partners HVAC division was highly unorganized. They threw stuff up against a wall each day and hoped it stuck. You were an employee ID to them and their mistakes got me laid off. They sold me a goldmine but in the end, no gold.

Pros

hybrid -- WFH once a week

Cons

office is crowded sometimes. I don't find it as a con, but i think someone who finds hard to focus in crowded environment might find it difficult.

Pros

They offer appealing pay and benefits on the surface, which is what draws most people in.

Cons

They lure people in with big promises and “great pay,” but it’s all smoke and mirrors. They don’t care about their employees or their customers—only what they can extract from them. Once they’ve taken everything they want, their true colors show immediately. They lock employees into restrictive contracts that make it nearly impossible to continue the careers they’ve spent years building, and anyone who tries to leave gets dragged through court as a warning to everyone else. This isn’t a company built on integrity; it’s a private-equity machine obsessed with maximizing investor returns. They buy up markets to control the industry and crush competition, not to improve service or support their people. Do yourself a favor and stay far, far away from this company.
