Pros

Very laid back division, salary so they are not really watching what time you arrive and leave as long as it’s reasonable, taking time off is easy, work from home 3 days and in office for 2.

Cons

Not enough diversity ,heavily male driven and lacking minority representation. It’s is a sprinkle of African American people in the wealth division and most of them come from the Aon apprentice program. It’s a great entry to the firm but there is more talent out there for people of color who want to enter into the wealth/investment world. Other than that, it’s a pretty stable, laid back company

Pros

Good support and good people

Cons

Large company does mean that Tech/HR support usually involves an 800 number and call center.

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
