Absolutely no structure, no support, people are brought in and allowed to sink with little training and no on job support. Blame culture is huge and upper management don't even engage with the teams at all, half the time they are not even there. The jobs were miss sold and the place is a circus, constantly fire fighting and not having a clue which blaze to tackle next. Some teams are flat out whilst others do very little all day meaning that staff distribution is completely off and how this company has functioned so long without a massive FCA sanction is beyond me. Do yourself a favour and stay as far away from this joke shop as you can

Pros

Great role to transition into the insurance industry. Many resources and opportunities to expand technical knowledge. Client visits are great if you like to travel. Lucky to have a manager who doesn’t micromanage. If you’re organized, driven, and good at communicating you’ll do great.

Cons

Can be stressful at times around busy renewal cycles. Travel often depending on industry and clients.
