Pros

Pension Share Scheme is quite useful Rare pieces of work that are actually fun The people who do actual work are fantastic

Cons

Leadenhall is too small for all your staff, not enough desks for agile working although I wasn’t affected the scrum around me was ridiculous. Free fruit is abysmal and very little given the vultures who work here. Toilets are absolutely disgusting for a new building, men literally do it all over the floor and nobody washes their hands. My manager was the most under skilled individual for this particular director position that I’ve ever met. They had zero people skills and no management experience at all and it showed. Everything is fine in the beginning, but once you show these people up for what they really are your put on a hit list, you have to get back in your box because it has to be all about them. You can do an amazing job working all the hours under the sun but don’t expect to be rewarded or given recognition within the firm because you are nothing more than a number and you need to be obedient. Once you’ve got their attention be prepared for them to try and manage you out, develop issues with you and attempt to brainwash you into thinking everyone else thinks the same about you. Everyone that is in a management position has got there purely by outlasting everyone else, and this has formed a horrendous brotherhood of inept individuals blowing each other’s trumpets. If you are still considering going here I urge you to have one last look at the market, if you are a good quality candidate there will be something else better around the corner for you than this cesspit.
