Pros
I made amazing friends and had some incredible experiences. I gained new skills that I may not have had the opportunity to acquire elsewhere. Middle management tries their best, and I appreciated their efforts. Coworkers were great.
Cons
They have had three major rounds of lay-offs this year (2025) alone. AiG is suffering from years of wasteful spending. Whoever is in Ken Ham's ear gets their way, and Ken is a "my way or the highway" boss. Anyone who is brought in to help the company "get back on track" is inevitably chased off or mysteriously disappears. The top reasons people leave are burnout, low pay, or being fired. Staff are always in a crisis mode, and work-life boundaries are not respected. People with years of experience and education leave because they can't afford to feed their families. The pay is atrocious, and no one has received a cost-of-living raise anytime recently. Middle management is overall wonderful and tries their best, but they can't change the culture when the upper-level management provides zero support. Staff are burned out and underpaid, and in fear for their jobs. HR is there for the company, not the employees.
