Pros

They let you work from home.

Cons

I was promised a performance bonus. My review was just low enough to deny my bonus. Nobody told me it wouldn't be paid, I found out by going through my paystubs carefully. When I quit, the company shortchanged me a week's worth of salary. When I sent them an email with all the correct dates, details, etc. they said there had been a mistake and that they would pay me in the next two business days. I got paid, but if I hadn't been paying attention I would be out a week's pay. The company pays employees one week in arrears so you have to be very careful and make sure all the amounts are correct.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review and for your time spent employed at Angi. While it's great to hear you enjoyed the benefits of working from home, we'd like to unpack your concerns around annual bonuses and compensation payouts. Many full-time team members, depending on their team and role, are provided an annual performance bonus which is paid out at the beginning of the year and approved by their manager. This figure is not guaranteed as there are many factors that contribute to bonus payouts including individual performance. We aim to be transparent about performance by holding quarterly 1:1 conversations so adjustments can be made in advance of bonus payouts. On a separate note, we're sorry there was a discrepancy in the last paycheck you received that was not reflective of your last week employed with us. This is not a common occurrence and one that our accounting teams were able to quickly rectify. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention to ensure one-off errors such as these do not transpire in the future. Thank you for your time spent as a valued Angi team member and we wish you the best in your next endeavor. - Laura Kato, SVP HR

Pros

It’s work from home. Two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch.

Cons

They are a very dishonest company. The hype up the job but in reality what you’ll be doing is spending all day calling random numbers in which about 95% of those people either won’t answer the phone or if they do, you will be hung up on within like two seconds. Not to mention the Angie reputation is so bad. It’s actually notoriously bad that even if you are able to get someone on the phone for more than a couple of minutes they’ll still end up hanging up just because of how bad Angie is. In my opinion Angie is a dishonest company selling a dishonest service because most of the leads they sell are fake and most of the leads they give their employees to call are also fake and if you don’t make these outrageous sales numbers you’re fired it’s a reason why the employee benefits don’t kick in until three months in because they know 95% of the people they hire won’t still be working there in three months because they will not hit the sales quotas. The only good thing about this job is its work from home really. And the hot leads they say they have 95% are fake or just someone who looked at a spam email. It’s actually comical how deceptive this company is.
