This company is a hot mess. Once the kids started going back to school and moving away from remote learning after the pandemic, this company began to lose money and started scrambling—mass layoffs, reorganization, etc. Engineering was constantly talking about OKRs and shifting priorities every quarter. During the course of a year, I was on THREE different software development teams. THREE!!!
On top of that, most teams are understaffed and have a few people doing the amount of work that several people should be doing. Pay is on the lower end of the market, and work-life balance is horrible. Most people on my team worked 8+ hour days and sometimes dealt with on-call pager rotations after work.
