Pros
I have been working at Boston City Properties for over 7 years and I truly like working here and believe that the sky is the limit in terms of earnings and growth. Make no mistake, as a real estate agent, you are self employed and it is your responsibility to grow your business. However, BCP has provided me with a good lead system and environment to be successful. The owner/Broker is a great guy, very down to earth and 100% supportive. I think the training you get at BCP is also very good, As a new agent, you have the opportunity to get one on one training with all the senior agents, which is invaluable because you can get to learn the business from multiple perspectives and then apply what seems to fit your style to grow your business. It is also a very social company, that sponsors a lot of after work events and get togethers, that are a lot of fun and a great opportunity to network and pick up more info and tips. Real estate is not for everyone, it takes hard work, long hours, a willingness to continually learn and be self supportive and self staring, but as far as I'm concerned, this is a great company to work and grow your real estate business.
Cons
Don't get into real estate unless you are willing to work hard, be self motivated and a self starter have some money in the bank, so you have a least a six month cushion, because it is 100% commission based.
