Pros

An honorable cause with a stellar reputation, which can be attributed to the work of the International Secretariat in London, UK. The USA affiliate is headquartered in New York City, NY with field offices in DC and across the country. The program staff are, for the most part, very talented and some of the best and brightest.

Cons

Lack of transparency. No clear programmatic direction or focus. Inability to demonstrate compelling or quantifiable impact. The board is not responsible for or involved in fundraising and is out of touch with what is most important. Meanwhile, leadership seems to be grasping at straws to define their purpose or the reason for the agency's existence, while keeping on managers who subject their direct reports to the repugnant traits they claim they wish to eradicate. Human Rights are abused regularly. Management is weak and inconsistent. Restructuring is a regular occurrence. Expectations are unrealistic. Everyone besides the executive team is expendable and just a number but they still can't seem to balance their budget and operate at a deficit.

None. Everything that was stated in the JD is what I got and experienced.
