Pros
I worked at Amida for over a year. The company offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work briefly with Peter Liven, the CEO. He is an intelligent and visionary leader, but I found that some of his expectations for employees were ambitious and, at times, unrealistic. The primary reason I chose to leave was due to the scope of responsibilities. My role required me to function simultaneously as a data architect, data engineer, data modeler, software engineer, project manager and technical writer. While I value cross-functional work, the demands extended beyond what I felt was feasible for sustained success. Overall, Amida is a dynamic environment with talented professionals, but it may be best suited for individuals who thrive under broad and diverse responsibilities.
Cons
Expectations for employees were unrealistic.
