Pros

The team is great and that is why people stay there.

Cons

They talk a big game about valuing employees and promoting a positive culture, but it's all smoke and mirrors. The constant employee turnover speaks volumes about their actual priorities. This is definitely not a place where your well-being or growth matters – it's just a revolving door of empty promises.

I am very sorry when there is a mismatch between the company and the person who joins. I am sorry if you got fooled; not our intention. Marketing and culture advertising? Our pillars of communication are clear. Come to Amenitiz if you want a Great Product, Great People, and Great Challenges (here is where I’d like to dig because it feels that it’s where you might have found conflict). Amenitiz grows at an outstanding pace. New markets, new features, new functions, new ways of working, new types of customers, new everything. It's not easy. It's quite hard actually, and the company manages to keep on facing challenges and growing consistently. We don’t value our people? We have no chance of succeeding without our people! People at Amentiz are paid at market level or above, they have the opportunity to meet and work with hundreds of great people, they have a role with a clear mission and possibility to have an impact, and they have great managers to coach them and support them in their development. On top of that, they have EQUITY to be active beneficiaries of the company's growth. We don't care about well-being? Well-being is defined as "the state of being comfortable and healthy". I don't think the people who chose Amenitiz are looking to be comfortable; on the contrary, they enjoy stretch challenges that bring the best out of them to keep growing. I would argue it's very tough to feel comfortable in an environment that scales at 2-3x multiples each year. Healthy? Fantastic work environment, normal working hours, private health insurance, managers there to listen and support. Happiness? I find happiness to be a personal responsibility, where work is only one of the levers to consider. If what makes you happy is regular face-to-face interactions with empathic people, feeling part of a team, working and contributing in an exciting and growing mission, you will be happy at Amenitiz for sure! Growth doesn't matter? We are all for growth! That is our nature! Can we do more? Yes, we are communicating effectively on career paths and promotion procedures currently being built. However, WE HAVE HAD +40 PROMOTIONS in 2023 so far! I see SDRs becoming AEs, AEs becoming Team Leaders, Care agents becoming team leaders, sales people moving to product or marketing, TA people moving to People Business Partners, and plenty of cases of people taking bigger scopes, learning new skills and facing new challenges. Amenitiz is challenging, yes. If you enjoy challenges, bring your best, get involved in solutions and value autonomy and support, and like to have an impact, we have plenty of roles open and would be happy to meet you. We are still learning and there are probably lots of things we can do better. By knowing the quality of people we have, I know we will.

Pros

The people and the work environment! It's so cool to have people from diverse backgrounds and experiences and who are open-minded. Also, the workplace is cool, well located in Barcelona, with all you need to be efficient and help the property managers that use Amenitiz on a daily basis.

Cons

Mind that Amenitiz is a growing company and there are some flaws when you compare it to bigger or more famous ones. Nevertheless, it is a challenge to seize and prepare to be involved in its management. In the end, it's like a family, it's not perfect but if you are hard-working, empathic and positive, the experience is not gonna be that bad.

Pros

The team was genuinely the strongest part of the experience. I worked with smart, supportive people who made difficult days much easier to get through.

Cons

The CEO’s leadership style felt extremely short-sighted, with reactive decision-making that often created more problems than it solved long term. • There was a noticeable lack of accountability at the executive level, especially when poor decisions came from leadership. • Favoritism played a major role in advancement and recognition, which hurt trust across teams. • Employees were expected to “do more with less” constantly because the company refused to properly invest in tools, systems, or infrastructure. • Spending oversight became excessive and counterproductive under leadership. Even basic operational purchases like €20 zip tie turned into an unnecessary CEO approval process.
