Pros
- Fantastic culture. People are polite and positive - Mature & transparent leadership. We have monthly all hands meetings where the leadership transparently shares future plans, and the state of company finances. - This is a fiscally responsible small tech company. Not a startup. Nobody is pressured to work more than 40 hours a week. Everyone is asked to take 2-4 weeks vacation a year. Nobody is asking you to be a rockstar dev, just want sustainable committed work. Expectations are sane and communicated clearly. Specifically with regard to engineering - High standards for code quality We have about 90% code coverage across our Django site. We run automated linting as part of CI. We do code reviews. - Engineering works very closely with the product team, Engineers input and feedback is always welcome, starting from the planning phase of a new feature.
Cons
There is no equity comp / stock / options etc. Honestly simpler that way. The salary is great.
