Pros

Fellow workers are supportive, can salary sacrifice ,

Cons

Management style is very heavy-handed and bullying happens throughout the organisation, from the top down. Amana used to be among the better paid organisations to work for but sadly this is not the case now. It would appear that many of the younger staff are poorly trained and poorly supported by the organisation. In my opinion staff with many years of experience who raise concerns are often ignored and discounted.

Pros

Meeting other community support workers Casual rate $39ph Some clients were lovely Freedom of the job

Cons

To many lies told before you even start From 25 hrs per week to 6hrs. Management the worse of them all. Lack of communication between office staff and workers. The systems with apps always malfunctioning Government incentives which there happy to take to employ you for 6 months then cut your hours back Broken promises You have no support when you need too defend yourself Clients complain all the time to you about the company themselves Team leaders dress like mutton around the office and clients home More coloured forgiens are taken advantage of .. Some clients can and will get you in trouble. Not praised for job well done but do something wrong they will be all over you. All employees are complaining Your driving further than 25kms most of the time and unlikely to compensate for it
