Interesting projects. C++/Java for coding. Perl/Python for scripts. Includes web dev for tools. ORACLE for DB. Plenty of guidance for projects. A lot of travel. Many development sites with potential to move between them. Software impacts in a real way. Leader in aviation software. A lot of personal growth potential. Very multi-cultural.
Cons
No bleeding edge tools. Development centers are not always close to amenities (for example, London one is near the edge of London). Salary not as good as the banking industry or tech giants.
