9yWe sincerely appreciate the feedback. Since this review five years ago, many things have changed within Alturas Analytics that directly address your comments.
We have an entire Quality Assurance Unit that is continually ensuring international regulatory compliance as most of our contracts are for regulated work. We have quarterly meetings in which we discuss the annual goals of the company as well as unit goals and individual personal goals.
The unfortunate nationwide economic crisis that affected our industry primarily in 2010 was a turning point at Alturas Analytics. We determined we would not close our doors but continue to do excellent bioanalysis and keep our doors open. Many CROs closed during that period, but we realized we could capture market share by taking steps in our business plan to ensure a diverse portfolio of clients. By diversifying our clientele we have experienced consistent growth every year since then. We have over 30 employees now!
Now, 5 years after this review, we have a pricey, customized, integrated software system that tracks quoted and contracted amounts with a project management aspect that allows projections for many factors including expected income and equipment allocation needs. This provides transparency and helps with efficiency.
We continue to have direct interaction between the scientists and sponsors, but now we have quarterly supervisor meetings in which a 'coach' helps ensure our supervisors have the tools they need to maintain our happy and efficient workforce. Additionally, we have implemented a 'company culture' program that educates and informs everyone at every level of self-selected personal and professional goals, so we can support each other's development and growth. As a company that has more than doubled in employees in recent years, we believe we have taken excellent steps to support this growth in a professional manner.
