Pros

good health benefits, performance doesn't matter, just shut your mouth, job is somehow safe government is paying to get this company alive...

Cons

You will find there some senior people not really competent that wish to end their career in paris area, employee population is old. Very rigid environment, not open to new ideas. New ideas are not really welcomed. VP's are just folllower of a failing management, if the guy at the top does not like you, you'll get fired no matter your achievements. You will find also all of the following: - favoritism irrespective of competencies. - intense bad politics: war among departments, front line vs vs program managers, vs VP's. Atmosphere is unbreathable... - Altis is not able to convince customers, they keep switching from one program to another. - Forget about salary increase, - forget about promotion. - You might ended up knowing more before getting into Altis than after, you won't learn much, you will just see how far politics can go... -You might loose your self confidence, there is a biased relation with the customers make the Altis employee to feel disregarded.

Pros

Altis is a great place to work at thanks to the various projects going on, from memory or RF chips to embedded software. People here have a lot of experience and it's very motivating for juniors who wants to share and gain a global view of the semiconductor business. Young talented people from around the world are also hired, which makes it a pleasant and dynamic working environment.

Cons

Altis is exiting a period with very few customers and orders, and is now recovering. This means there are challenges to face in order to meet the increasing demand both in terms of production and innovation capabilities.
