No benchmark was good enough, you could exceed expectations in goals and they would still be upset. Even hourly management/non salary was expected to be available at any moment off the clock and drop anything for the company even if it did not pertain to you individually with no compensation. Higher ups would keep people around with the promise of movement up and then when the opportunity would arise, tell you that you actually aren’t in the running/not even allow an interview for the exact position they said would be their path for you.
