Pros
The coworkers were nice and we worked well as a team.
Cons
I met with an AltaStaff recruiter at a Starbucks for the interview close to the company I’d be working at. It was very informal and he just asked about my background in customer service. I was hired on and started a position at Illinicare Health as a customer service rep the next week. The reciter came into the training class where me and about 25 others were hired and being trained. There were mostly women in the class so that's probably they advertise as a boutique staffing agency. That was fine though. Everything was going great for a few days until the recruiter called and told me not to return the next day because they did not like my behavior. This made no sense to me as I was not disruptive of the class at all and always took notes and asked questions. I did make jokes in the class but it was all in fun and it broke up the monotony of the day. In no way did this effect the teachers form training the material of my coworkers from learning. I built a close relationship and was well liked among my coworkers because of my electric personality. They just do not like anyone with a personality there. The worst part is I asked why and my recruiter said he could not tell me. I pushed him for feedback and requested specifics as to what was wrong with my behavior. He could not go into detail probably because even he thought it was nonsense. I could tell he was not being honest with me and REFUSED TO GIVE ME A STRAIGHT ANSWER. BE CAREFUL. THEY WILL LET YOU GO RANDOMLY AND NOT GIVE YOU AN EXPLANATION!!
