Love this place - Server/Waiter Alpine Valley Resort Employee Review

Nothing, everything is great at this place

you *can* get a day pass for free skiing. theoretically. the job is also extremely easy.

Stu, the boss asked us to come in every single day we had off even after working 50-60 hour work weeks. I skied probably two times the entire season because he would ask me to come in on my day off and then try to guilt trip me about it when i said no. So obviously i couldn’t ask for a day pass after that. Why even work at a ski hill if you can’t ski for free?! Management was super catty. They would gossip about employees behind their back and to their face and laugh at them. We were made to stand outside in negative -40 degree wind chill temps without proper attire being provided. Everyone who runs the lift ops is everything passive aggressive and childish.
