Pros
A great deal of autonomy on projects. Constant stream of good work that maintains interest. A lot of diversity in work projects as well. Great company leadership. When they say 40hrs/wk they mean 40.0 hours per week for the most part. Overtime only rarely required.
Cons
Very small company. No a whole lot of oversight or guidance in projects. Very much a sink-or-swim kind of environment. Zero comp-time policy. Work schedule is rigid. A lot of the shop equipment is out of date or not in particularly great working condition. Harbor Freight tools are the order of the day though some of the equipment is pretty new and very nice. Training on equipment is sparse. Employee benefits are super sparse. No retirement benefits of any kind.
