Pros

Just writing a sentence here as it is mandatory on Glassdoor. Nothing to say here.

Cons

There is so much to say… FIRST OF ALL, BEFORE APPLYING MAKE SURE YOU GET EX-EMPLOYEES OVER THE PHONE (NOT LINKEDIN MESSAGES, WE CAN’T BE FULLY HONEST OVER MESSAGES) They sell the role as being real consulting but it is nowhere near consulting, you are at the very bottom of the food chain. Welcome to the kingdom of micro-management! 3-4 meetings per day to discuss the best way to harass people (ironically your manager is harassing you for you to harass people in return). These meetings called « boards » are split through the day to « game plan » your day (lol). Advice from line managers is constantly the same: email more and/or call more. You don’t need any skills (absolutely no critical thinking, analytics, maths, excel, power point, relationship management, etc). You are basically sending 400-600 emails + calling 10-20 people per day. They expect you to be in the office doing nothing else than this from 8.30am to 7pm. To sum it up => it is a cocktail of a « brainless NPC job » with a hint of « passive-agressive/micro-management » atmosphere. Sounds enjoyable? Please go ahead and apply to become the next cheap version of C3PO.

Cons

Work and day can be tedious and feel repetitive, you must like talking to people all day, every day The hurdle performance tracking can be stressful for younger Associates Increasingly tighter competition as clients seek to find cheaper alternatives Exit opportunities can feel limited to account management/customer success work
