Pros

I would ignore some of the other reviews here from over 8 months ago. The company has changed its strategy/vision with work from home, and I believe the work-life balance of employees has tremendously improved. I work from anywhere between 7-10 hours a day, and have the flexibility to work earlier in the morning or later at night and take long breaks during the day if it fits within the workflow. Significant amount of autonomy, early responsibility, client-facing, and the people you work with are fantastic

Cons

Philosophically the job can become a little exhausting as the job fits within an extremely small niche of professional services and lacks the "prestige" of consulting

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! COVID has indeed shown us we can have more flexibility than we've ever had before and I am optimistic this trend will continue! I'm also glad to hear you are finding autonomy, early career responsibility and excellent team members. These will continue to be our core building blocks as we scale over the coming years in SF and I am grateful you are part of our team. - Sloan Danenhower, San Francisco VP

Pros

Rapid Progression & Recognition: Performance is directly rewarded here. If you hit your goals and show drive, the path to promotion and career growth is transparent and fast. Strong Team Culture: The team energy is fantastic. Everyone is highly collaborative, supportive, and commercially minded, which makes for a great working environment. High Autonomy: From day one, you are given real ownership over your projects (like leading recruitment events, managing candidates, and driving partnerships), allowing you to grow your commercial skills rapidly.

Cons

High Velocity & Pressure: The work is very fast-paced with strict timelines and high-volume expectations. It is not a place where you can coast, and you need to be comfortable working under commercial pressure. Resilience is Key: Sourcing and recruiting require a great deal of resilience. You have to be comfortable with rejection and persistent in finding creative solutions to hit your targets.

Pros

The team culture here is what keeps me around. People genuinely want to help each other do well, and it feels collaborative in a way that's hard to find elsewhere. What I've appreciated most is how much autonomy you get over your own career. I've been able to take on responsibility early, learn a ton, and grow quickly without anyone holding me back.

Cons

It's fast-paced and the bar is high. You've got to be comfortable figuring things out as you go. But honestly, if you like being challenged and want to develop fast, it's a great place to do that.
