Pros
- Great client exposure - Very fast pace, requires quick response and thinking - The support system and career path has become clearer and better across years - Workplace is diverse and energetic, you work with people from all around the world everyday - Good commercial growth, things are KPI / revenue driven here - Not hierarchical at all, you could walk up to a VP any day and make a suggestion or ask a question
Cons
- Could be stressful if you are not the kind of person to work under pressure / short timeline - Things go on here very fast both on the projects and within the organisation, this can either excites you or make you feel uncomfortable - The company tried to build a strong feedback / coaching culture (which is a good thing), however the quality control and training given to managers are not sufficient to always ensure a good outcome. Something you need to remind yourself is that this is still a learning organisation and your boss is not a 50 year old working with lots and lots of experiences to tell you what to do; instead you are working with someone similar to your age, who is trying to guide you through your troubles at work. And sometimes, your manager is learning too, so give your honest feedback and also be understanding that this is a young and growing company, not a fortune 500 companies
