Pros
-International company with lots of growth -Funding isn't a problem -Controls a large and growing sector of the North American animal feed business -Owner thinks on a big picture scale and isn't afraid of change
Cons
-Flat management structure - very disorganized for the size of the company -Employees afraid to tell the owner no or be honest about obstacles -Owner treats employees extremely disrespectfully (One example - once poured beer on the head of an employee because he was drinking a non-Alltech brand of beer at an Alltech function) -Snap decisions are made without thought on what is involved in implementation or long term consequences -Company culture is very cult-like -High employee turnover
