Great Promises, Lacking Follow Through - Associate Alliiance Employee Review

Pros

This company does generally have a good culture and encourages collaboration, and a good variety of opportunities to work on different project types and project scales. There is a decent work-life balance, but that tends to vary between different project managers. Be prepared to have to advocate for yourself often, though.

Cons

There is a lot of potential for great things to happen, but unfortunately most fall short of being just talk and words expressed. A good amount of what is said and done is unfortunately superficial and is done to maintain the image of the firm. Upper management is very clique-like, even if they say otherwise. Opportunities are limited to those that are favorited (not just for work ethic or performance), and if you've found yourself to be a pariah or outlier, good luck in advancing your career or having your voice heard.

Pros

Not too hierarchal - extremely collaborative across skill levels and areas of expertise. The people are motivated, friendly, and humble. From what I've seen, this is a very healthy workplace that will work with your individual needs and interests.

Cons

I have no pressing complaints.

Pros

-flexibility -free parking -mostly nice co workers

Cons

-lot of unfulfilled promises. asked to switch studios and get a permanent desk and the requests go nowhere. -very low pay. switched company and got paid 20,000 more a year which isn't a shock since that's the average per my position and experience. -got to talk to my "group leader" three times in 3 years -bad "bonus structure." seemingly was based on hard work, only made the rich richer and scraps to the lower and middle employees. -favoritism is obvious. -lot of contradictory. One person would tell you another way to do something then you would hear something different the next day.
