Is this your company?

Did not work for Alliance Pointe but received a job offer from them after they found me and contacted me. - Anonymous employee Alliance Pointe Employee Review

Pros

Not applicable since my offer was rescinded based on whim of client

Cons

After accepting their offer, they informed me that their client changed his mind, and the offer was rescinded. What kind of company does that? Just a word of caution to those who have received offers from this small company. Also be sure to verify benefits which are below standard.

Pros

1. This is a very small company (their DC office has a staff of like 5 people) so you get to try on a lot of different hats. If you're young and don't know quite what you want to do in life you, a company like this is of tremendous value as you will get to experiment and gain a wealth of knowledge and experience doing so. 2. Convenient location, next to 4 metro lines and Vapiano is downstairs.

Cons

1. Owners shared their political views often--if you're not a Trump supporter or simply have manners--this can be incredibly alienating. 2. Frequent and seemingly random staff cuts. 3. Obvious display of favoritism with staff. If they like you, you can skip out on work for 10 days and just get a stern talking to. If they don't, or are simply indifferent, you can be fired for showing up three hours late once. 4. Owners bragged about deliberately offering subpar health benefits to remind employees of what all they "sacrificed" as business owners. 5. Despite servicing the government almost exclusively and decorating their bare walls with various insignia, owners often demeaned their military clients and points of contact. Left a bad taste in the mouth.
