Pros
Coming from the retail sales/service automotive business, I would have never imagined the demand for commercial transportation. The shear amount of clientele and potential business is almost mind blowing. Although technically considered an inside sales position, the vast amount of time can and is encouraged to be outside, face-to-face with customers. Forming personal relationships and business relationships alike, are some of the most rewarding aspects of any sales position. This company allows (and encourages) an eager sales person the ability to go to the customer! This is a huge advantage to providing personal service. I cannot stress the feeling of "being free" to perform my job. Alliance Bus Group has given me the opportunity to travel, form professional relationships, and grow as a sales professional in general. For that I cannot thank them enough for this awesome responsibility and opportunity!
With multiple locations in different states across the country it would be common to feel "lost" or "small" to the corporate office. However, all three owners of Alliance Bus Group work in one of the dealerships and are actively engaged in selling, as well as managing! Anyone and everyone within this company literally has direct access to the very top of management. This is the definition of an "open door" policy and is very refreshing!
Cons
No employment is without a downfall, however, there really isn't anything noteworthy to advise.
